What SecureWorld collects & how they use data

SecureWorld uses cookies. These are used to “help remember and process the information you are interested in,” and retain user preferences for future visits.
They may store information voluntarily provided by users (e.g. through contact forms, event registrations, subscriptions) — insofar as that is needed for the services offered.
Data collected may be used for operating the website, providing their services (events, newsletters, communications), and remembering user preferences for future visits.

SecureWorld does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information to outside parties — except in cases where trusted third parties assist with operating the website, running the business, or servicing the user. These third parties must agree to keep the information confidential.
They may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, enforce site policies, or protect the rights, property or safety of SecureWorld or others.
If the website links to third-party services or products, those external sites have their own separate privacy policies; SecureWorld is not responsible for their content or practices.

SecureWorld states compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — meaning they will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
They also claim compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). They say that they do not collect information from anyone under 13 years old; their site, products and services are aimed at people at least 13 or older.

Their privacy policy applies only to information collected through their website (online). It does not cover information collected offline.
By using their site, you are taken to consent to their privacy policy.

If they change the privacy policy, they commit to post the changes on the privacy-policy page. They may also send email notifications of changes or update the “modification date.
